1⅓ oz Becherovka
⅔ oz Bärenjäger
⅓ oz Rye
⅛ tsp Citric acid
2 twst Lemon peel

“Dry” stir (without ice) to dissolve citric acid. Stir (with ice this time), strain, rock(s). Express, rim & drop in both peels.

A riff on Eastern Standard’s delicious Metamorphosis. Sour, with notes of cinnamon, clove, ginger and honey. The sourness comes from citric acid rather than the usual lemon juice, which means this is a properly boozy cocktail. And that’s just how we like it.
